Gifted & Talented

Students with the appropriate abilities will be invited to participate in our Gifted & Talented Programme. This programme is open to students on an invitation only basis. These students will be invited to participate based on assesments throughout the year, and will have been identified as having excellent natural ability in a specific area of dance. These classes are to be taken in conjunction with normal classes, as they are there to extend the children be

yond their normal class work.

As mentioned above you will see in our section covering our the success of our students in News and Events that selected for this programme have already had fantastic success. Several students from our Gifted & Talented Ballet stream are members of the Australian Ballet Schools Junior Interstate Programme, and have also worked with the Australian Ballet Company in various productions.

Also several of our students in the Gifted and Talented Tap Programme regularly receive Gold Awards in their Glenn Wood Tap exam (which means they scored above 98% for their exam).
